where is the love?

What’s into earth these days? Last week, my sister was held up while aboard a passenger’s jeep on her way home. Actually, this is the second time that she was held up, same venue, just this month. This time, she was with 3 of her officemates, plus other passengers. Good thing (oh I don’t know what’s good anymore!) nothing was taken from her, and she was the only one spared, because everybody on that jeep was down with nothing, not even “pamasahe pauwi”. My sister had to lend them money for them to get home. And that jeepney driver, maybe he was one of them, he did not even help them to get to the police! Whatever happened to good Samaritans?!

Yesterday, my brother was almost beaten to death by these stupid frat members in their school. For what reason I’m not sure, but my brother had to scurry away from 14 men with what they call “four fingers” on their hands and God knows only what else deadly weapon they have in hand. Good thing there was a bus right there at Lawton, just outside the Parian in Intramuros. One of them even managed to get in the bus and was threatening and cursing my brother. We decided that he had to stop school for this semester and look for another university for the next half of the school year. I know it was such a traumatic experience for his age. Though he was willing to continue school, I know it would just make my mom (and me) restless, imagining gruesome scenes, while he’s out there at school. For those stupid, frat members, I hope you realize what valuable money, time and emotions you owe us! When I see you, I will scrape your skin off and throw you on a pile of rock salt! So you’d how painful it is!

now and then

longest running friendship

Our party was successful, everybody came. Was held at liezel's place. I’m really glad to see all my gorgeous friends. We had Gilbey’s, as in 2 liters, and additional 2 “bilog” (or the gin bulag as they call it) because we got “bitin”. My gosh, everybody was tipsy and so all the pictures were blurred. We sang our hearts out! It was fun, just like the high school days!! Ooops,,,

I’m dreaming of a grand barkada reunion, but that would be impossible to achieve due to conflicts,,, long story and hard to explain. Anyways……….. I did not realize this until that day, but I missed them soooo darn much, though I’m seeing each of them every now and then; it’s the togetherness, the bonding while reminiscing the younger days that made it so special! I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!!

kotong

We went to Laguna last week, with the whole gang of course. On our way to Laguna, we were halted by a chocolate police at EDSA, because Girlie’s car was so fresh from the oven and was still not registered, he was asking for the registry of the car but of course it is still under process, which started the argument, ok to make the long story short, the price of his integrity was 500 pesos. Just not to delay this planned weekend. I hate him; he’s such a stain to his bureau. So take a good look at this man and when you see him, you can tell to his face, “BWAYA!!!”
