my first maki
Just want to say, finally, I've tried California maki. I was afraid to try any food that has something to do with wasabe, but man, it tastes good! That yellow stuff is mango. I love the combination of the sour taste of mango, some soy sauce and the flavor of crab... was that crab, well I'm not sure but it tastes like one. Another one for my menu.

I don't even know what a wasabe is and I am not too keen on finding our either. If I want to go exotic I'd rather have Filipino food.
Ces, Wasabe is raddish cream, really strong flavor, often on japanese foods. When I tried maki, I didn't put wasabe.

I only tried maki once in japan and the wasabe was mean, make that very mean. After that, I'm like "been there, done that!" It seems like this is not true with you, cause it seems like that you almost finished the whole box - hehe!

Actually, I threw away the wasabe cream, I just dipped it in soy sauce. :)
