ding-dong-ding
Young girls, when asked their future ambitions, would typically say a doctor, a teacher or a flight attendant. But most of us won’t be. They are merely fantasy for some of us, either we had a change of heart or we simply are not qualified or we did not strive for it.
So for those girls who persevered to carry on the childhood dream, you are most probably out there smiling.
And one of them I should say, I’m so proud, is my cousin Jila.
She passed the training, and is now a certified flight attendant for an International Airline.
I really enjoyed her Bienvenida/Despedida party. I know she did, too. I called it bienvenida/despedida party coz she went back just to pack her stuufs then leave the next day! Hectic!
During the happy get together, she told a joke about the Attendants script upon landing on the airport, in Filipino version, It goes like this:
DING-DONG-DING!
Maligayang paglapag po sa pandaigdigang istasyong pampaliparan ng Ninoy Aquino!
With matching voice moderation!
I just hope for all the best for my cousin.
Enjoy your trip “around the world”!!!...luvyah!

Best of luck to your cousin. It's a tough job even though it looks glamorous. I hope she wears a lot of support stockings or hose!!! :-). She will be off to an adventure. May she and her wards have safe travels!!!
